Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — Few sectors capture the spirit of transformation quite like energy —

the lifeblood of progress, innovation, and sustainability. Within this vital landscape, the Women

and Energy Association (WE) has emerged as a defining force for empowerment, illuminating

the path for Saudi women to lead one of the Kingdom’s most strategic industries.

Under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Noura bint Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al

Saud, the Creative Women Forum – Saudi Arabia 2025 proudly welcomes the Women and

Energy Association as a Strategic Partner, marking a collaboration that embodies

empowerment in action — a partnership grounded in shared purpose, progress, and vision.

Empowering Through Knowledge, Mentorship, and Purpose.

Founded in 2023, the Women and Energy Association arose amid an important phase in Saudi

Arabia’s transformation — a moment when progress required not only women’s participation,

but their leadership across every sector. As the Kingdom advances its Vision 2030 ambitions, the

Association’s mission remains clear: to cultivate a generation of female leaders who can

navigate, influence, and innovate within the evolving energy ecosystem.

At the core of this mission lies the WE Rise Mentorship Program — a pioneering initiative

that integrates mentorship, innovation, and leadership into a powerful continuum of growth.

Designed for early-career professionals with fewer than five years of experience, the program

provides a year-long journey of development through personalized mentorship, expert-led

workshops, and hands-on innovation challenges — transforming ambition into leadership.

What sets WE Rise apart is its human-centered approach — affirming that empowerment is not a concept, but a lived experience. By connecting emerging professionals with industry experts and leaders, the program strengthens confidence, deepens purpose, and elevates technical excellence — ensuring that every woman entering the field contributes a legacy of her own.

“Empowerment begins with access, but matures through purpose. Our mission at the Women and Energy Association is to create pathways for Saudi women to progress fromparticipation to leadership — transforming both the energy industry and the society it serves.” — Dr. Abeer Al-Alyan, Founder, Women and Energy Association

Building Bridges, Advancing Nations

Beyond mentorship, the Women and Energy Association serves as a bridge — connecting

government, industry, and academia to drive innovation and national progress. Through cross-

sector collaboration, the Association supports an integrated ecosystem where research, capacity- building, and professional development align to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s global

competitiveness.

Reflecting its international outlook, the Association’s recent agreement with the International

Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) represents a historic milestone — opening new avenues for

Saudi women to contribute to peaceful nuclear energy and to shape a sustainable, secure energy

future for generations to come.

Empower • Engage • Sustain: Women Leading Transformation

As the Creative Women Forum – Saudi Arabia 2025, held from 4–6 November

2025 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in partnership with the Women’s

Leadership Center, convenes global leaders, innovators, and policymakers, the presence of the

Women and Energy Association will anchor discussions under the Forum’s core pill — Empower.

Together, both entities aim to inspire a future where women are not only included in the energy

transition — but leading it.

A Shared Vision for Tomorrow

The Creative Women Forum – Saudi Arabia 2025 extends its appreciation to the Women and

Energy Association for its ongoing dedication to progress, mentorship, and inclusion. Through

its visionary programs and strategic alliances, the Association continues to exemplify

empowerment by unlocking potential, opening opportunities, and building a legacy that inspires

generations.

Empowerment is not a moment — it is a continuum fueled by courage, collaboration, and

conviction. Through that continuum, progress becomes not only sustainable — but unstoppable.
