Saint-Tropez to Honour Brigitte Bardot with Charity Evening for Animal Welfare

Updated: 2 days ago

A special tribute will celebrate Bardot’s lifelong commitment to animals while raising funds for the Fondation Brigitte Bardot and Sans Collier Provence.
Saint-Tropez has long been part of Brigitte Bardot’s story. On Friday, 25 September 2026, the town will honour not only the screen icon, but the woman who devoted much of her life to the protection of animals.
Held just days before Bardot’s 92nd birthday, the charity evening will bring together supporters, public figures, collectors and animal-welfare advocates at Do You Tropez – Art & Legacy.
The purpose is clear: to celebrate Bardot’s lasting humanitarian work and raise money for animals in need.
The programme will include an art exhibition, musical entertainment and a charity raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will be shared between the Fondation Brigitte Bardot and Sans Collier Provence, supporting their continued work in animal protection, rescue and welfare.
Bardot’s image remains inseparable from cinema, France and Saint-Tropez. Yet her greatest legacy may lie beyond the screen. She stepped away from the film industry and used her international profile to speak for animals that could not speak for themselves. It became the defining cause of her public life.

The evening will be held under the patronage of Bernard d’Ormale, President of the Fondation Brigitte Bardot, with the support of Ralf and Etienne Schumacher, sponsors of the event.
International art collector and gallerist Jordi Casals, a member of the UK Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion & Sports, is supporting the occasion through Do You Tropez – Art & Legacy. The gallery provides a fitting setting for an evening where art, memory and charitable purpose come together.
This will be an elegant tribute, but its message is simple and urgent: admiration must be followed by action.
Guests will gather to honour an icon. More importantly, they will help continue the work that has defined her life.
For animals, always.
The event takes place from 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm on Friday, 25 September 2026, at Do You Tropez – Art & Legacy, 10 rue Joseph Quaranta, 83990 Saint-Tropez, France.
Admission is €20, including a welcome cocktail.
Press accreditation, photography, interviews and filming opportunities are available by prior arrangement.
