Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — Under the leadership of His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, the Ministry of Culture stands at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s cultural renaissance. Its mission, rooted in both heritage and innovation, reflects the belief that culture is not a luxury of progress — it is its foundation. This year, under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Noura bint Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Ministry joins the Creative Women Forum Saudi Arabia 2025 as a Strategic Partner, hosted at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in partnership with the Women’s Leadership Center. Together, they honour a shared purpose: to empower, engage, and sustain the creative forces shaping the Kingdom’s future.
Established in 2018 by Royal Order, the Ministry of Culture embodies the Kingdom’s bold vision for transformation. Guided by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Ministry’s strategy reflects the core pillars of Vision 2030 — building a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. It recognises that cultural identity is not static; it evolves with its people, drawing strength from its history and vitality from its innovation.

Under the stewardship of His Highness Prince Badr, the Ministry has redefined the national cultural landscape. Its National Strategy for Culture created a dynamic framework encompassing sixteen creative sectors — from heritage and design to film, architecture, and literature — ensuring that every discipline finds a platform to grow. Through eleven dedicated cultural commissions, the Ministry continues to nurture talent, promote international collaboration, and support creative enterprises that reflect the spirit of Saudi Arabia’s new era.
For the Ministry, culture is a living dialogue — a bridge between generations, ideas, and worlds. Initiatives such as the National Cultural Awards capture this philosophy, honouring the artists, thinkers, and innovators whose work gives shape to the nation’s evolving story. As His Highness Prince Badr once affirmed, culture “resides at the core of our country’s ambitious journey.” That belief continues to drive every policy, every partnership, and every creative endeavour the Ministry supports.
As a Strategic Partner of the Creative Women Forum Saudi Arabia 2025, the Ministry’s involvement reflects the theme Women Leading Initiatives — a tribute to the powerful role women play in advancing Saudi creativity. Together, the Ministry and the Forum champion inclusion, education, and innovation, fostering a generation of women who not only participate in culture but define it. Their collaboration stands as a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to progress through creativity — a quiet revolution where art and ambition move hand in hand.
