In the heart of Riyadh, where the pulse of tradition beats in rhythm with modern ambition, two names have quietly yet profoundly shaped Saudi Arabia’s cultural renaissance — Rukun and AlMashtal. Together, they have become more than institutions; they are the embodiment of an idea — that creativity, when nurtured with structure and soul, can transform a nation.

When I first stepped into their extraordinary facilities, guided by Her Royal Highness Princess Noura bint Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, I was immediately struck by a sense of serenity and purpose. The space itself felt alive — every curve, every detail, every exchange between people seemed to speak of a higher intention. Having worked in and visited countless creative environments across the globe, from London’s innovation hubs to New York’s art studios, I can say few places possess the poetic balance of design and humanity that Rukun and AlMashtal exude.

Rukun is the grand strategist — the mind that envisions the architecture of culture. It operates on the scale of systems and nations, crafting frameworks that support the creative and cultural industries across Saudi Arabia. Its expertise lies in policy, infrastructure, and design — a vision that translates heritage into modern structure and possibility. Through research and collaboration, Rukun has helped redefine what it means to build a cultural economy — one rooted in identity, yet global in reach.

Out of this visionary framework was born AlMashtal, a space conceived by Rukun to bring thought into action. Independent yet aligned, AlMashtal serves as a living ecosystem for creatives — designers, artists, producers, and entrepreneurs. It is here that imagination meets execution, where theory becomes tangible creation. Through programmes such as Exit Zero, The Saudi Souvenirs Challenge, Knowledge of Design, and Brand Your Neighbourhood, AlMashtal has become the meeting ground of disciplines and generations — a space where conversations grow into collaborations, and where dreams acquire shape, scale, and permanence.

Together, they represent a rare symphony — Rukun designs the systems; AlMashtal gives them breath. Their collaboration is both philosophical and practical, intellectual and emotional. It is a model that turns cultural vision into measurable progress — from the drafting of national strategies to the laughter of young creators working late into the evening.
Over the past two years, as Platinum Sponsors and Strategic Partners of the Creative Women Forum Saudi Arabia, Rukun and AlMashtal have not only supported our mission — they have defined it. Their presence has elevated the Forum into something far greater than an event: a movement of ideas, inclusion, and innovation.
Through their partnership, we are building a bridge between strategy and opportunity — between those who imagine and those who create. Our shared purpose is clear: to nurture environments where young people feel safe to explore, empowered to lead, and inspired to build. Their dedication aligns perfectly with our belief that creativity is not a luxury, but the most powerful language of transformation.

And now, this partnership evolves once more as the Creative Women Forum Saudi Arabia 2025 prepares to open its doors at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Noura bint Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Director of Rukunand AlMashtal. In collaboration with the Women’s Leadership Center, the Forum will bring together over 500 international delegates, award-winning entrepreneurs, academics, and young Saudi talents under the theme “Empower • Engage • Sustain – Women Leading Initiatives.”
This edition, held within one of the Kingdom’s most forward-thinking universities, carries a mission shared by Rukun and AlMashtal: to connect the wisdom of experience with the energy of youth. It is an invitation to learn, to innovate, and to lead — a living embodiment of Vision 2030’s spirit of empowerment and progress.
As Rukun continues to shape the frameworks of culture, and AlMashtal brings them to life through daily engagement, their contribution to this year’s Forum stands as both example and inspiration. Together, they remind us that when creativity is given structure, and when structure is guided by imagination, the results are nothing short of revolutionary.
In a nation redefining the very idea of possibility, Rukun and AlMashtal are not merely participants — they are architects of the future. Through their partnership with the Creative Women Forum, they help us do what every great society must: nurture the next generation of leaders, and give them not only a platform — but a purpose.
