LONDON, UK - November 15, 2022—SoftServe's Corporate Charity Fund, Open Eyes, hosted an invite-only event and auction on Tuesday, November 15, at Oblix within The Shard.

The Shard is the tallest building in Western Europe, made of metal parts from Azovstal, a factory in Maripolwhere the Ukrainian Army defended citizens until the recent surrender.

Author and British television presenter Jason Bradbury was the event host. Guests at this event enjoyed an exclusive performance by the award-winning KalushOrchestra, a group combining rap, electronic and traditional Ukrainian folk music. Hors d'oeuvres were prepared by renowned Ukrainian chef and activist Ievgen Klopotenko.

Along with other tech officials, executives, and community leaders, SoftServe had in attendance various government officials and well known media faces, including:
Ukraine Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom, Vadym Prystaiko
Chief Commercial Officer of Building Digital UK, Martyn Taylor
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov

SoftServe proudly stands firm for a free and sovereign Ukraine and continues efforts to offer lifesaving resources, well-being, and safety. "

The fund covers critical needs such as humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and protection for those defending Ukraine," said TarasVervega, Co-Founder and Board Member at SoftServe and Head of Open Eyes.

In addition to the live event, Open Eyes invites all individuals and companies to contribute by donating online here.
