On 6 July 2025, Paris—the city of light and couture—was graced by an event that transcended fashion and became a tribute to heritage, artistry, and unity. Held within the gilded halls of the iconic Hôtel Le Meurice, the Oriental Fashion Show once again reaffirmed its place as a cultural bridge between East and West, blending tradition with modernity in an unforgettable celebration of Fall/Winter 25/26 collections.

As the city revelled in the rhythms of Haute Couture Fashion Week, the Oriental Fashion Show offered a uniquely refined spectacle—one that drew designers, dignitaries, and distinguished guests from across the globe into a realm where ancestral craftsmanship and contemporary vision met in perfect harmony.

A Day of Dignified Creativity

The programme unfolded in two elegant chapters, each marked by originality and a deep reverence for cultural expression.

At 3:00 PM, six exceptional fashion houses from Central Asia and the Middle East captivated the audience with their newest creations:

  • Lali Fashion (Uzbekistan) charmed guests with delicate textiles and ornamental motifs evoking the magic of Samarkand.

  • Jamila Alsuwait (Kuwait) presented architectural silhouettes adorned with fine embroidery, marrying modern femininity with Gulf elegance.

  • Gólli and Göwher Gouvernet (Turkmenistan) unveiled rich, symbolic collections steeped in the artistic legacy of the Turkmen steppes.

  • Humariff (United Arab Emirates) impressed with fluid forms and a refined fusion of modesty and grandeur.

  • Mashael Al Mutawa (Kuwait) dazzled with powerful designs, each a testament to the confidence and creativity of the contemporary Arab woman.

As the sun dipped over Paris, the show’s crescendo arrived at 6:00 PM, when Debaj (Qatar) unveiled its very first haute couture eveningwear collection. The house’s debut offered a luminous blend of regal lines, hand-embellished fabrics, and the serene elegance of Qatari heritage, earning widespread admiration from international media and fashion connoisseurs.

Guests, Glamour, and Gratitude

The event welcomed a constellation of esteemed personalities from the worlds of fashion, diplomacy, media, and the arts. Amidst the fragrance of oud and the shimmer of embroidered silks, guests mingled in a spirit of cultural appreciation and shared beauty. The energy was celebratory, yet deeply meaningful—anchored in a profound respect for craftsmanship and narrative.

The Oriental Fashion Show extended heartfelt gratitude to its distinguished partners and supporters, whose unwavering dedication contributed to the event’s resounding success.

Among them, the legacy of Mohamed Al Sagheer, the revered Arab hairdressing icon, was honoured through the work of Rafilo Toma and the Al Sagheer Paris salon—an embodiment of timeless sophistication.

Élisabeth Visoanska, founder of VISOANSKA Haute Cosmétique, once again lent her visionary expertise as official beauty partner, enriching the event with her eco-luxury ethos and dedication to refined skincare innovation.

Also celebrated was Farah El Ouali, a legendary figure in Moroccan beauty, whose decades of dedication to makeup artistry and education were evident in the meticulous elegance seen across the show.

A Living Tapestry of Cultures

From its inception, the Oriental Fashion Show has been far more than a runway—it is a movement. A platform where silks speak, embroidery tells stories, and the past dances with the present. The 2025 edition continued this legacy with poetic grace, reaffirming its role as a cultural lighthouse that shines brightly over the global fashion scene.

At its heart, this event remains a tribute to identity, womanhood, and artistry. In an industry often driven by trends, the Oriental Fashion Show offered something far more enduring: soul, purpose, and beauty steeped in meaning.

As the final model stepped off the runway and applause echoed through the opulent halls of Le Meurice, one truth was clear—on 6 July 2025, fashion did not merely walk… it told a story. And the world listened.
