Invited by the EAL Raising Achievement Coordinator Claudia Lopez-Prieto, the director of the Parliamentary Society Rebeca Riofrio addressed students at St Gabriel College on the Wednesday 30th of November 2022.
Students shared their aims and career prospects with Riofrio, while she told them her success life story as a migrant in the United Kingdom. Over 26% of students at St Gabriel College come from Latin countries and were extremely welcoming and very curious about Riofrios work and achievements including her work at Anglia Ruskin University London and the Parliamentary Society. They enjoyed various stories including the one of meeting HRH Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
