Multifaceted artist Kiera Chaplin gave a powerful speech during the opening of the International Conference “Global Women in Leadership “in Bahrain by Stella Polare Events.
The conference took place from the 26th till the 30th of August in Manama. Part of the conference was also visits to various cultural centres, museums, theatres, meeting young local artists, cultural directors in charge of protocol and a trip to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture – Ithra, where the exhibition on maritime awareness and pollution was prominent and the importance of Islamic roots were highlighted.
Kiera Chaplin, current ambassador for the Arts in the UK for the Parliamentary Society discussed the possibilities in bringing international cultural events to the Kingdom of Bahrain in the nearer future.
